怕孩子手机上瘾?送他去练琴吧!注意力稀缺时代,古典音乐如何成为独特的专注力训练
Adolescents average more than seven hours of screen time a day, much of it short video and social feeds. Dr Xiaoyun Peng, whose son boards at the Yehudi Menuhin School, argues that specialist music schools close the gap through which phones enter: individual lessons, chamber rehearsal, orchestra, choir, theory and performance preparation fill the hours that ordinary schools leave to families. She identifies three mechanisms — a timetable supplying external structure while self-control is still developing, applause as a reward that must be earned rather than clicked, and a peer culture in which neglecting practice costs a player their place in an ensemble. Her son adds a structural argument of his own: a sonata-form work runs thirty to forty minutes, far beyond a Pomodoro cycle, training sustained attention rather than merely broad attention.
