Half-Term Music Workshops

An immersive London programme for young musicians aged 7–17, combining chamber music, individual coaching, theory and aural work, masterclasses, supervised practice, nature exploration and philosophical reflection.

Autumn 2026: Chamber Music Camp — Tuesday 20 to Saturday 24 October

Spring 2027: 13–21 February

Summer 2027: 29 May–6 June

The autumn camp is the chamber music unit of the Half-Term Music Workshops. Chamber music runs 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21 and Friday 23 October. Thursday 22 October, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, is an optional camp trip to the WWT London Wetland Centre, where the group observes insects and birds and discusses philosophical questions, led by Dr Zhihao Yan (Tim). Saturday 24 October is rehearsal from 2:00 pm, leading into the closing concert at 3:30 pm.

Day places only; the programme is not residential. Each workshop concludes with a concert for families, host families and the wider community.
