Young Strings Ensemble
A weekly London ensemble for young string players aged 7–11. Violinists and cellists are welcome; viola players are warmly encouraged to join.
The programme combines a Sectional & Practice Lab with a full Ensemble Rehearsal. Young musicians build secure technique, musical independence, attentive listening and the confidence to perform with others.
Weekly programme
Sectional & Practice Lab — bow technique, intonation, rhythm and supervised practice.
Ensemble Rehearsal — repertoire, chamber skills, listening, teamwork and musical expression.
