Responsibilities

Design and lead Inchwise Education’s curriculum and research-based learning programmes for children and young people.

Oversee academic quality, assessment, and curriculum innovation across our educational and cultural initiatives.

Coordinate and mentor teaching teams, researchers, and visiting lecturers.

Develop partnerships with schools, universities, and cultural organisations in the UK and abroad.

Produce and publish research-informed content, reports, and learning materials aligned with the company’s mission.

Ensure programme delivery meets UK education and sponsorship compliance standards.

Advise senior management on academic strategy and educational development.

Requirements

PhD (or equivalent) in Philosophy, Education or a related discipline.

Proven experience in curriculum design, academic leadership, or education research.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas clearly.

Strong organisational and team-leadership skills, capable of managing multiple projects.

Commitment to cross-cultural education and research-driven practice.

Based in London, with occasional travel within the UK for collaborations and events.

Inchwise Education is seeking an experienced and visionary Music Director to lead our youth music programmes, including summer camps, workshops, concerts, and long-term music courses. Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee music programmes for children and teenagers, both in London and across the UK.

  • Lead curriculum development for youth music courses, ensuring high educational and artistic standards.

  • Plan, organise, and direct student concerts, summer camps, and other performance opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver engaging and effective one-to-one English lessons online to overseas students.

  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles and needs of individual students.

  • Provide regular feedback and support to help students achieve their language goals.

  • Participate in occasional in-person academic workshops, training, and team collaboration sessions in London.

About you

  • Based in London or the UK, with the legal right to work.

  • Recognised English teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, DELTA).

  • Experience teaching English to young learners and/or adults (online experience preferred).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage online learning platforms (e.g. Teams).

  • Professional, reliable, and culturally sensitive approach.

  • A DBS check is desirable (Basic or Enhanced), especially for those with experience teaching young learners.

Philosopher Club – Assistant Facilitator (Paid Internship)
City Walks Program (Sundays)

Every step is a philosophical adventure.

About the role
We’re hiring Assistant Facilitators to support our Sunday children’s philosophy “City Walks” sessions. You’ll accompany small groups of Reception–Year 2 children in museums, parks and urban spaces across London, helping them notice, question and think out loud. This is not “babysitting”—it’s guided inquiry in the wild.

Key details

  • Contract type: Casual, paid internship (worker status), term‑time Sundays, with potential to extend

  • Hours: Sundays, 10:00–15:00 (from September 2025)

  • Location: London and nearby areas (travel between sites may be required)

What you’ll do

  • Co‑facilitate child‑led dialogue and observation activities during city walks

  • Model safe, respectful behaviour in public spaces and support positive group dynamics

  • Help with sign‑in/out, transitions, hydration/snacks and risk‑aware movement

  • Set up simple materials, keep brief session notes, and debrief with the lead educator

About you

  • Currently in the UK with valid Right to Work (e.g., student permission allowing paid work)

  • Warm communicator who enjoys guiding children to express ideas and listen to others

  • Comfortable with outdoor walking and flexible, changing environments

  • Reliable, safety‑minded, and happy to work Sundays

  • Desirable: Experience with children (teaching/mentoring/camp), Forest School/outdoor education certification, first aid

  • Essential: Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (child workforce). Existing DBS welcome.
